Eighteen Porsche 992 GT3 Cup race cars started the first race at 11:20 a.m., four of which were from our team.

We’ve completed our second day of practice, our first practice runs, and we’ve tweaked the car’s setup a bit.
Today we also put on new tires for free practice, and of course we managed to pick up the pace significantly, so we’re happy.
The car is running great; it’s warm out, but it’s probably going to get even worse, so it’s challenging—but that’s okay. We’re getting faster, which is what matters, and everything is working as it should. We’re looking forward to the race.

Sunday’s race day is behind us—two race runs done and the cars are in one piece. I’m happy; the lap times kept improving, which means the progress was always there. Of course, I would have liked a little bit more, but the result is awesome. We got to race, we enjoyed it, and the cars and the team worked flawlessly. So for me, it’s an A+!

So, after nine years, we’re back at the Ecce Homo Rally—another great idea, a spontaneous one that came about over a good lunch. We’re excited, we’re having a blast, the cars are running smoothly, the team is on point, the weather is fantastic, so we’re looking forward to tomorrow and we’ll see what we’ve still got left in us.
