The 4.0-litre, six-cylinder horizontally opposed engine provides 375kW (510PS) of power in the new generation; a clear indicator of its intended purpose: to take part in races and to win. The new 992 GT3 Cup is geared up for success on the race track, featuring a six-speed sequential dog-type transmission with a new electronic shift actuator, more downforce, a double wishbone front suspension concept that is typical of race cars, and optional available ABS aids or Porsche Motorsport traction control.

The second qualifying session for the Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe is over. Both qualifying sessions are now complete, and all 14 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup cars know their starting positions.
The second qualifying session was interrupted by a red flag and subsequently ended approximately two minutes early.
Now we’re focusing on the races.
Results of the second qualifying session:
The first sprint race will now follow at 11:20.
The first of two 20-minute qualifying sessions as part of the PSCCE in Brno is just getting underway. All three of our drivers are heading out onto the track to fight for the best possible starting positions for the races.
We’ve completed six practice sessions, which took place on Thursday and Friday, so the entire Šenkýř Motorsport team is fully prepared, and today, as always, we want to do our very best to achieve the best possible results.
The weather at the Brno Autodrome is currently ideal for racing. Clear skies, a temperature of 9 degrees, humidity at 89 percent, and winds of just 2 km per hour.

The final Friday practice session—and the sixth overall—of the 2026 Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe at the Brno Autodrom is now behind us. This wraps up today’s practice schedule, and we can now fully focus on Saturday’s race day.
Pavel Bouška was the first to take the wheel of our #7 car, and he was relieved by coach Erik Janiš at approximately 4:20 p.m. This gave the crew additional time to prepare for the upcoming endurance race.
The final practice session also took place on a dry track at a temperature of around 16 °C, which allowed us to continue working on the setup of our Porsche 992 GT3 Cup cars.
So, practice is over! We still have a drivers’ meeting today, but the main event begins tomorrow morning. We have two qualifying sessions, two sprint races, and one endurance race ahead of us.

Thank you to all our fans for your support—tomorrow we’re going all out!
