The Porsche 992 GT3 Cup racing car from the German automaker, and the latest addition to the Šenkýř Motorsport team’s lineup of pure-bred race cars, featuring a design with red accents.
The 4.0-litre, six-cylinder horizontally opposed engine provides 375kW (510PS) of power in the new generation; a clear indicator of its intended purpose: to take part in races and to win. The new 911 GT3 Cup is geared up for success on the race track, featuring a six-speed sequential dog-type transmission with a new electronic shift actuator, more downforce, a double wishbone front suspension concept that is typical of race cars, and optional available ABS aids or Porsche Motorsport traction control.

It’s time to turn all that careful preparation into a battle for the best possible result on the track.
Inspection of the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup during a practice pit stop
During a pit stop in the third practice session on Friday, our technicians carefully inspect the red Porsche 992 GT3 Cup and change its Michelin racing tires.
Every pit stop is an opportunity to thoroughly inspect the car and prepare it for its next lap on the track.
Halfway through the first practice session, all of our cars made their scheduled pit stops. During the stops, we performed technical inspections, checked tire pressures, and collected important data that will help our engineers further fine-tune the cars’ setups for the upcoming runs.
Before heading out for the second practice session, we’re fitting our Porsche 992 GT3 Cup with tires.
In the background, you can also see our data center, where we evaluate telemetry in real time and analyze all the key data that helps both drivers and engineers continuously improve the car’s performance.

Sunday’s race day is behind us—two race runs done and the cars are in one piece. I’m happy; the lap times kept improving, which means the progress was always there. Of course, I would have liked a little bit more, but the result is awesome. We got to race, we enjoyed it, and the cars and the team worked flawlessly. So for me, it’s an A+!

The Šenkýř Motorsport team heads out from the tents to the start of Ecce Homo 2026 – first Tomáš Erdélyi in the red Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, followed by Pavel Bouška in the yellow Porsche, and finally Robert Šenkýř, who awaits his first race run at Ecce Homo in the blue Porsche after a nine-year hiatus.
So, after nine years, we’re back at the Ecce Homo Rally—another great idea, a spontaneous one that came about over a good lunch. We’re excited, we’re having a blast, the cars are running smoothly, the team is on point, the weather is fantastic, so we’re looking forward to tomorrow and we’ll see what we’ve still got left in us.
