PSCCE26 at the Red Bull Ring: A Race Report from the Šenkýř Motorsport Team's Perspective

Saturday 30.05.2026 - Qualifications and races

  • Race 1 - results
    • #3 Vetrák Samuel (SK), P3 in AM, P10 overall
    • #5 Kolařík Radek (CZ), P4 in Masters, P17 overall
    • #7 Bouška Pavel (CZ), P1 in Masters, P14 overall
    • #9 Faiereisl Matyas (CZ) - P3 in Pro, P3 overall
    • #11 Kárník Dobroslav (CZ) - P5 in ProAM, P13 overall
  • Race 1 - Comments from drivers
    • Matyáš Faiereisl
      • „We started the first race from pole position. In the opening corner there was some contact, which dropped me back to P2. Later on, I made a mistake myself and fell to P3. In the end, we finished the race in third place. Overall, I’m satisfied with the result, and we’ve gained some valuable experience that we can take into Race 2.„
    • Bouška Pavel:
      • „Today is finally race day. We had the first qualifying session this morning, and it was a bit of a compromise because one of yesterday’s practice sessions was cancelled, so we had to bed in a new set of brakes during qualifying. That meant we could only really push properly in the second half of the session. In the end, it didn’t turn out too badly. I started from second place in my class. I lost one position early on, but then managed to make it back up, so I finished first in my category in the opening race. I’m really happy about that—the race went well. Now we’ll see how the rest of the day unfolds. For the second qualifying session, I’m starting one position further back than I did for the first race, so we’ll see how it goes. Either way, I’m looking forward to it.„
  • Q2 - Results
    • #3 Vetrák Samuel (SK), P11, P1 in Masters
    • #5 Kolařík Radek (CZ), P18, P4 in Masters
    • #7 Bouška Pavel (CZ), P19, P5 in Masters
    • #9 Faiereisl Matyas (CZ) - P2, P2 in Pro
    • #11 Kárník Dobroslav (CZ) - P5, P2 in ProAM
  • Q1 - Results
    • #3 Vetrák Samuel (SK), P15, P2 in Masters
    • #5 Kolařík Radek (CZ), P15, P5 in Masters
    • #7 Bouška Pavel (CZ), P16, P2 in Masters
    • #9 Faiereisl Matyas (CZ) - P1, P1 in Pro
    • #11 Kárník Dobroslav (CZ) - P4, P1 in ProAM
  • Robert Šenkýř
    • „It’s Saturday, and we’re about to begin the first race day of this year’s Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe. We have five cars on track at the Red Bull Ring, competing across all categories: Pro, Pro-Am, Masters, and also a newcomer racing in the Rookie category. We’re looking forward to the challenge in every class. Behind us are two test days, Thursday and Friday, filled with productive work. I believe we’re well prepared, and all five of our drivers, together with our coaches, are ready to achieve the best possible result..„

Friday 29.05.2026 - Testing and training

  • Erik Janiš - Evaluation of the training sessions by coach
    • „We’re here at the first race of this year’s championship, and everything is working great. The car is well set up, the weather is beautiful, and we’re putting in pretty solid lap times. Of course, there’s always room for improvement. We’re also coaching our clients using video and data analysis. Everything is going as it should, and I hope that tomorrow in the race everything will go our way so we can collect some valuable points and achieve a strong result.“
  • Matyáš Faiereisl
    • „So, here we are on the second day of practice. We’ve got good pace, and we’ll try to keep it up in qualifying and then in the race.“
  • Bouška Pavel
    • „Okay, so today was the first official practice. Yesterday the car was running better, but this morning we had a few issues with the brakes, so we had to bed in a new set, and hopefully now it’ll be fine. This track is really demanding on the brakes, so we’ll need to prepare an extra set because the brakes wear out extremely quickly here. As for the drivers… I’m still getting used to it here, but hopefully we’ll manage a good run tomorrow..“
  • Samuel Vetrák:
    • „Today is going perfectly, we have perfect weather and I had a minor accident yesterday, so it was repaired at night and today we are running it in and basically we are already going through the protocol depending on how it will look tomorrow during qualifying and during the race, so the new tires are already going and we are trying to apply what we learned yesterday today.“
  • Dobroslav Kárník:
    •  „We are here at the Red Bull Ring, we have the first test behind us. We are trying to set up the car, the weather is on our side and I believe it will only get better and better as the day goes on.“

Bližší info o Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe 2026

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe enters its eighth season in 2026. The championship will feature six race weekends at some of Central Europe’s most prestigious circuits, including the Formula 1 venues of the Red Bull Ring and the Hungaroring.

Each race weekend consists of two 25-minute sprint races and one 60-minute endurance race. All 18 races can be contested either individually or by a pair of drivers, and thanks to the various classifications, the series offers competitive opportunities for drivers of all experience levels.

The grid will consist exclusively of Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) cars, meaning the championship uses the same machinery as the renowned Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. In keeping with the slogan “Bring your family and friends,” the PSCCE hospitality area at every event provides an ideal platform for entertaining sponsors and business partners.

All official practice sessions, qualifying sessions, and races will take place on Fridays and Saturdays.

Drivers introduction

Dobroslav Karnik

Dobroslav Karnik

Slávek has been taking part in selected Šenkýř Motorsport trackday events for several seasons now. Gradually, his desire to try a race car grew, and thanks to his ownership of a modified Audi R8 V10, we chose a car with the same engine — the Lamborghini Huracan ST EVO II. The logical next step was racing school and his first race weekend with the BMW M4 GT4 G82 Evo from the Šenkýř Motorsport team at the Autumn Brno Cup 2025. That successful weekend in Brno was topped off by his first GT4 category win, and two weeks later by a quality test during free practice at PSCCE in Brno. After a test weekend in February 2026 as part of Endless Summer in Barcelona, we decided to try at least the first PSCE 2026 race at the Red Bull Ring.
Matyas Faiereisl

Matyas Faiereisl

As a young driver, Matyas will compete in the overall classification and in the Rookies standings for drivers under 25. His journey toward a racing career began two years ago with his first sessions in a BMW M2 Trackday Evo. In the 2025 season, he moved to the new BMW M4 GT4 G82, with which he started his very first race ever in the Carbonia Cup. At the end of the 2025 season came his debut — and immediately his first pole position — in a Czech Championship race in Brno, followed by three wins in the final round of the series at Balaton in Hungary. Matyas already tried the Porsche during free practice for the final PSCCE 2025 race in Brno and impressed with his speed.
Pavel Bouška

Pavel Bouška

Pavel started joining us at trackday events with his Porsche and soon decided to become part of our BE A RACE DRIVER project. Thanks to hard work, perseverance and a passion for motorsport, he has gradually developed into a fast and confident driver who now successfully takes part with us in several racing series. As part of our Classic program, Pavel also competed in the very demanding 24h Classic race at the Nürburgring in the BMW M3 E30 during the 2025 season. With his current Lamborghini Huracan Supertrofe Evo II, he participates in all our race tests and the Endless Summer program, Carbonia Cup races, and with a racing driver's license, he has already tried out two races of the International Czech Circuit Championship and the Porsche 992 Cup Central Europe races.
Radek Kolarik

Radek Kolarik

Radek started out at trackday events with a BMW M2 Trackday Evo. Over time, it started to feel „too small“ for him. After agreeing with the team, Radek moved straight into the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, and with several starts in the ESET Cup and especially many sessions in the Endless Summer winter training events, he gained the confidence needed to enter the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup series. Radek continues to take part in Šenkýř Motorsport trackday events; the Race category is the ideal platform for his driving development.
Samuel Vetrak

Samuel Vetrak

Samuel is taking his passion to a more professional racing level under the guidance of Richard Gonda and with the excellent support of the Šenkýř Motorsport team. His training process with BMW M2 and BMW M4 GT4 cars began in 2021. He made his racing debut in 2022, when he started with our team’s support in a BMW M4 GT4 F82 in several ESET Cup races and was part of the rookie team for the 24 Hours of Barcelona. After a few working years, he returned to racing this year — straight into the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup category. "Robert and his team enabled me to enter the world of motorsport in the most professional way, guiding but also igniting another passion and today I can't imagine my life without driving a race car."

Our drivers and cars will be taken care of by coaches and engineers

With the support of the entire Šenkýř Motorsport team.
