S. Vetrák comments on the first training day at PSCCE26 Slovakiaring
I only trained for half a day today. The Slovakia Ring is one of the tougher circuits, at least for me. Today we just worked on the racing line, individual turns, and G-forces; we weren’t chasing lap times yet. We’ll devote tomorrow’s practice to getting the overall flow down. And hopefully that will show on Saturday during qualifying and the race.
Summary of the first training day at Slovakiaring as part of the PSCCE26 race by R. Gonda
The first day of practice for the home round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe at the Slovakiaring is behind us. I think it went well.
Today, the guys and I focused our coaching mainly on getting them up to speed for a single lap. It’s extremely hot here, so tomorrow we’ll focus more intensively on the cars, setups, driving style, and precision, so that the tires can hold up through what promises to be a very demanding Saturday.
We’re looking forward to a large crowd; it’s a wonderful Porsche event, as always in this championship, so be sure to tune in.
Pavel Bouška and his feelings after the first training session at Slovakiaring
So here we are at the Slovakia Ring, and it’s nice and warm here. The track is really hot—it was pretty tricky—and we’ve just finished our first practice session. It was harder than I’d imagined, but we’re gradually getting the hang of it. Now we’ll put on new tires, and it’ll get better and better. Still, we’ll be battling the heat—it looks like it’s going to be hot for all three days, so it’s going to be a lot of fun.
Matyáš Faiereisl and feelings after the first training session
We've finished our first practice session; I've already refined my line quite a bit, and now we just need to work out a few minor details, but I think we have the pace, so we'll be ready.
Snapshots from the first training session on Thursday
On the first day of training at the PSCCE, temperatures are around 30–31 °C and there is light cloud cover. Both the cars and the drivers have to cope with the higher temperatures.

Šenkýř Motorsport's boxes at the Slovakiaring ahead of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe
On Wednesday evening, our Porsche 992 GT3 Cup cars are already lined up in the pits at the Slovakiaring, ready for tomorrow’s first practice session as part of the 2026 Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe | Round 2.
Pavel started joining us at trackday events with his Porsche and soon decided to become part of our BE A RACE DRIVER project.
Thanks to hard work, perseverance and a passion for motorsport, he has gradually developed into a fast and confident driver who now successfully takes part with us in several racing series. As part of our Classic program, Pavel also competed in the very demanding 24h Classic race at the Nürburgring in the BMW M3 E30 during the 2025 season.
With his current Lamborghini Huracan Supertrofe Evo II, he participates in all our race tests and the Endless Summer program, Carbonia Cup races, and with a racing driver's license, he has already tried out two races of the International Czech Circuit Championship and the Porsche 992 Cup Central Europe races.
Tomáš is a driver who has worked his way up from hobby hillclimb races to the top of the licensed races of the Czech and Slovak Republic circuit and hillclimb championship. He also won the FIA CEZ Championship several times. From his first successes with the BMW M3 E36, he has worked his way up to the GT3 category with regular training and diligence, and rightly belongs to the Šenkýř Motorsport coach group.
As a young driver, Matyas will compete in the overall classification and in the Rookies standings for drivers under 25. His journey toward a racing career began two years ago with his first sessions in a BMW M2 Trackday Evo. In the 2025 season, he moved to the new BMW M4 GT4 G82, with which he started his very first race ever in the Carbonia Cup. At the end of the 2025 season came his debut — and immediately his first pole position — in a Czech Championship race in Brno, followed by three wins in the final round of the series at Balaton in Hungary. Matyas already tried the Porsche during free practice for the final PSCCE 2025 race in Brno and impressed with his speed.
Radek started out at trackday events with a BMW M2 Trackday Evo. Over time, it started to feel „too small“ for him.
After agreeing with the team, Radek moved straight into the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, and with several starts in the ESET Cup and especially many sessions in the Endless Summer winter training events, he gained the confidence needed to enter the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup series.
Radek continues to take part in Šenkýř Motorsport trackday events; the Race category is the ideal platform for his driving development.
Samuel is taking his passion to a more professional racing level under the guidance of Richard Gonda and with the excellent support of the Šenkýř Motorsport team.
His training process with BMW M2 and BMW M4 GT4 cars began in 2021. He made his racing debut in 2022, when he started with our team’s support in a BMW M4 GT4 F82 in several ESET Cup races and was part of the rookie team for the 24 Hours of Barcelona. After a few working years, he returned to racing this year — straight into the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup category.
"Robert and his team enabled me to enter the world of motorsport in the most professional way, guiding but also igniting another passion and today I can't imagine my life without driving a race car."
According to statistics, the most successful Slovak rider in terms of the number of victories in major international races gained pole position and the highest percentage chance of winning the race. In his career, he won the prestigious Formula F3 Eurocup series and also tried out the special Formula GP2, GP3 and Indy-lights. Since 2017, he has been a pilot in GT3 category races for Šenkýř Motorsport team.
Czech race car driver, first Czech driver of the Champ Car World Series and second in Formula 1. In 2003, he was the official test driver of the Jordan F1 team. On October 24, 2004, as the first Czech, he started for the first time in the ChampCar race on the circuit in Surfers Paradise. Still active as a test and racing driver in the GT3 category. Since 2017 he has been cooperating with Šenkýř Motorsport as an engineer in the FIA CEZ and International GT Open series.
Two-time European hillclimb champion in the overall classification of touring cars division, multiple champion of the Czech and Slovak Republic in hillclimb and circuit races, long-term official member of the Czech national team and driver with a successful thirty-year racing career. Founder and owner of the Šenkýř Motorsport team, who created the methodology and concept of 1:1 coaching for trackday cars and their drivers.
We will field four cars out of a total of 21 entrants in the race at the Slovakia Ring as part of the 2026 Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe, and according to the starting list, we have the largest contingent on the starting grid.

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe enters its eighth season in 2026. The championship will feature six race weekends at some of Central Europe’s most prestigious circuits, including the Formula 1 venues of the Red Bull Ring and the Hungaroring.
Each race weekend consists of two 25-minute sprint races and one 60-minute endurance race. All 18 races can be contested either individually or by a pair of drivers, and thanks to the various classifications, the series offers competitive opportunities for drivers of all experience levels.
The grid will consist exclusively of Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) cars, meaning the championship uses the same machinery as the renowned Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. All official practice sessions, qualifying sessions, and races will take place on Fridays and Saturdays.
